                    Yoga practice is about vision; the development and usage of clear sight.  But what will we see?  A traditional rendering of this sutra says, “Samyama upon the radiance in the head brings sight of masters and adepts.”  Unfortunately, commentators disagree even on the nature of this light.  Satchidananda affirms that it is the light of the crown chakra at the apex of the skull, while Isherwood says it is most decidedly not that light, but another located at the rear of the skull.  Vyasa simply said, “Within an aperture in the skull there is a resplendent radiance.” SUTRA 3.33 contemplations today… and as I finally got hold of one of my favorite books of all times again, reading a bit out of 21 lessons for the 21st Century, by YUVAL Noah Harari,….
